Lichens of Azerbaijan East

Compared with many other provinces, East Azerbaijan Province has been relatively well studied from a lichenological perspective. The collections made in this region represent some of the richest and most significant resources for lichenological research in Iran, and these studies have led to the discovery and documentation of several new species.
